We’re Carina and Mick, the husband-and-wife duo (and self-confessed party people) behind The Event Edit. It’ll come as no surprise that we’ve always loved a good celebration; no occasion is ever too small to go all out! With three children (and a herd of alpacas!) keeping us on our toes, we’ve had plenty of reasons to make memories. Our kids still play a starring role - providing ongoing creative direction whether we ask for it or not!
The Event Edit was born in 2021, when we were trying to find something fun and exciting for our winter-born children’s birthdays. With Carina’s background in early years education and a passion for bringing joy to children through meaningful experiences — and Mick’s hands-on knack for making anything happen — we created our first magical setups, just for them.
